Welcome to our FAQ section! We've answered common questions about Lindbergh's Little Academy. We hope this helps you learn more. Can't find an answer or have a specific question about your child? Please email us at lisa@lindberghslittleacademy.com.

No, we are not affiliated with the Lindbergh School District. We are a locally-owned small business right here in Sunset Hills, operating independently. This allows us the flexibility to offer a truly unique and personalized early learning experience, carefully shaped for your child.

We ask every family to start with a tour of our center. This is a great opportunity for you to see our space firsthand, meet our team, and learn more about our program. We truly want to ensure that Lindbergh's Little Academy is the perfect fit for your family's needs!

Once your tour is complete, the next steps are easy. We'll ask you to complete our digital enrollment form and return the paper package you received during your visit.

Yes, we are open year-round, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

At Lindbergh's Little Academy, we focus on comprehensive development for your child. We implement the Frog Street academic curriculum to foster cognitive growth and introduce foundational learning concepts. For social-emotional development, we utilize Conscious Discipline, which helps children build self-regulation and strong relationships. You can explore more details about both of these integrated approaches on the dedicated tab here on our website.

Yes, we do! We believe in offering diverse experiences that spark joy and curiosity in your child. We currently partner with Soccer Shots (available spring through fall) and Kids Klub GymBus (fall through spring). These are optional programs parents can choose to sign their child up for, though they are not required. We're always looking for additional opportunities to partner with to provide your child with the best experience every day!

Yes, we are pleased to provide breakfast, two snacks, and lunch daily for all children 12months and older. Our meals are carefully planned to meet the DESE  meal requirements, ensuring a balanced and nutritious diet.

Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies your child may have, and we will do our best to accommodate their needs.

At Lindbergh's Little Academy, our dedicated team meets or exceeds the requirements set by DESE for early childhood educators. We are incredibly supportive of our educators pursuing higher education, with many holding CDAs (Child Development Associate credentials), various levels of college education, and some who are currently enrolled and actively working towards degrees.

We believe that lived and worked experience within the field of early education is incredibly powerful, often providing invaluable practical knowledge that truly complements academic learning. To ensure the widest possible range of experiences for every child, we thoughtfully pair teachers with diverse knowledge and backgrounds in each classroom. We deeply value this combined expertise, along with a long-term commitment to our families, as our team strives to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where your child can thrive.

The safety and security of your child is our highest priority at Lindbergh's Little Academy. We maintain secured entry doors where only authorized individuals can gain access. For an additional layer of safety, we have cameras positioned throughout the center. These cameras are for internal monitoring to ensure the well-being of both our students and staff.

Furthermore, all of our staff members are fully CPR and First Aid certified, ready to respond swiftly and effectively to any situation.

We primarily use the ChildPilot parent communication app, which allows us to share timely updates on your child's activities, meals, naps, and even photos throughout the day.

Beyond the app, we are always available in person – not just during drop-off and pick-up times. We truly seek to build strong connections with all our families, as we recognize that parents and caregivers are the true experts on their child. We value your insights and believe a strong partnership between home and academy is key to your child's success.
